Level 1

Fundamentals

Build the Foundation. Learn the Language of Jiu Jitsu.

Level 1 teaches you how to move, stay safe, and problem-solve from any position. We start with the basics because the basics work—and because building the right habits early means faster progress later.

What You'll Learn

  • Essential movement patterns (shrimp, bridge, technical stand-up)
  • How to stay safe before you escape or attack
  • Escapes from every major position
  • Guard retention and recovery
  • A clear sense of where you are and where you need to go

Expand Your Game. Build Systems, Not Just Techniques.

Once the foundation is in place, you start connecting techniques into systems. Level 2 is where you develop the strategic thinking that separates practitioners from hobbyists—all within the same safe, structured environment.
